Spices of Paradise, an Indian restaurant nestled in the heart of Harrold, Bedfordshire, serves as a cherished local gem for food enthusiasts. Customers rave about the diverse menu, showcasing a variety of special dishes that transcend typical Indian fare. The lamb kalliyah, in particular, has garnered accolades for its exquisite flavors. The restaurant’s ambiance, accented by proper linen and a warm atmosphere, creates an inviting dining experience. Many patrons, like Michael Knight, express appreciation for the welcoming service, emphasizing the friendly staff and the attractive loyalty scheme, which offers complimentary meals. Meanwhile, Sylvia Lawson commends the piping hot food and top-notch service, stating it undoubtedly earns five stars. However, some diners, like Steve Robinson, encountered slower service during busy periods, such as Eid, but they still found their evenings enjoyable. This slight hiccup does not diminish the consistently positive remarks from guests about the food’s quality and the vibrant atmosphere. Overall, Spices of Paradise emerges as a must-visit for those seeking authentic Indian cuisine with a touch of community spirit.

Lovely to have a local business in the village. The food is great and the service is always friendly. We like the loyalty scheme and is nice to get a free main course. Not sure what the poor reviewers have experienced but their views are completely at odds with what we get every time we eat at the restaurant.

Excellent menu with wide variety of special dishes that set it apart from the standard Indian. The lamb kalliyah was beautiful. I also liked the decor and atmosphere

I love Indian food and could not fault this place. The food was superior as well as piping hot as were the plates. Proper linen table cloths and serviettes. Without a shadow of a doubt this place deserves 5 stars!

Good food, service was slow but it was Eid and they were short staffed. Didn’t spoil our evening

A fantastic local take away and restaurant, we order from here normally once or twice (at least) a month, food always tastes fantastic and they are always happy discuss dietary issues. Service is always great, always polite and friendly, can very much recommend. Mainly we order take out as we're in the village, but we've dined in a couple of times and had a great experience as well.
